We're in a fashion moment when no one is quite sure if they should be dressing for the club, buying more athleisure, or reimagining their return-to-work wardrobe. Is it sequins and cutouts or cropped cardis and midi skirts? Lifelong friends Sabrina Burda and Noelle Pallais are skipping all the trend conversations and going straight to a jacket collection that's made to wear forever and be passed down to the next generation (or three).

"We both loved jackets, and we wanted to create a brand that meant something to us," Pallais tells "Both Sabrina and I have been collecting our mother's and grandmother's jackets for years. And we figured why not start our own brand of just one product? It was focused."

It’s “not not your grandmother’s jacket,” says Sabrina Burda and Noelle Pallais of their new label Sanoë’s signature items—Tyrolean-style outwear with modern-day wearability. Specializing in impeccably tailored jackets and blazers, their line officially launches today on Sanoë and with three styles: The Annabelle (a short cropped jacket), The Camille (a mid blazer length), and The Bettina (a coat). Each is offered in a myriad of plush velvets alongside classic textures and prints like wool herringbone and plaid that draw inspiration from ’90s Ralph Lauren equestrian style and Burda’s native Bavaria, where traditional “trachten” jackets have been worn for centuries.

For the Night Owl

"Those who prefer evening indulgences will relish unboxing opulent luxuries such as a sumptuously embroidered velvet kimono from nomadic bazaar RAC or a bottle of Kin Euphorics’s artisan-crafted nightcap drink (with Rosemary Home’s vintage ’60s-era coupes to sip it from, of course)."

Interior designer–in–demand Martin Brudnizki lends his layered aesthetic to a new restaurant along the Tiburon waterfront in Marin County: chef Michael Mina and restaurateur Brent Bolthouse’s second outpost of the Bungalow Kitchen. (The other is located in Belmont Shore, Long Beach.) Visiting the space, you won’t know what’s more dazzling, the striking views of the San Francisco skyline and bay or the no-detail-spared interior scheme with Craftsman undertones. Dress for your visit in a similarly layered style: Start with a Lessless slip dress and top it with a Tyrolean-inspired jacket from Sanoë. Accessorize with some hair bows from Hill House Home and a pair of ruby-and-pearl earrings from Batya Kebudi.
